CYCLING VIETNAM

DA LAT TO PHAN RANG-THAP CHAM

When we get to Da Lat, the honeymoon capital of Viet Nam, from Di Linh, we will sleep there for two or three nights in a quaint family-run hotel. As you may know, Da lat is located 1,474 meters above sea-level, so the temperature is much cooler than the central coast and the Mekong Delta. We will enjoy the hills, the vegetable gardens, the temperate flower gardens and the pine forests.
The way to Suoi Vang and Suoi Bac, is rolling and hilly. We climb up sometimes. When we reach the top, we will enjoy a long descent to Suoi Vang. It is really a neat idea to picnic there.

These smooth roads are in good condition, and the traffic is very light. After enjoying the scenery, the cool temperatures, we will cycle back to Da Lat. On the way, we will stop over to visit the late-King Bao Dai's Villas--the last king in Viet Nam (we can cycle or use the van). When we are in Da Lat, if you are interested in kayaking or in a jungle walk, we will arrange those. Just let us know your capability and a suitable trip will be arranged, at no extra charge.
