HONG NGU TO LONG XUYEN

We will cycle from Hong Ngu to the T-juntion where we will get on the ferry to get to Tay Island. Here, the van can not go with us due to the small ferry, so he meets us 26 km. away at Cho Moi. We have lunch in Cho Moi, then continue to cycle on a quiet road to the An Hoa car ferry for the provincial capital of Long Xuyen. We stay in a 2-start hotel for the night. Our evening meal is at a family restaurant in a small lane, featuring fried chicken, jumbo shrimp and other goodies.

After we sleep in Long Xuyen City, we then get up a bit early for breakfast. The van will then transfer us a short way to the T-Juntion of Tri Ton district. We get out of the van and start biking the 44 km along a canal and quiet canal-side villages most of the way.

These flat roads are in good condition, the traffic is light--not many cars and the landscape changes continously. You won't get bored when ride on this distance. we will cycle to Long Xuyen via these islands to experience real life, to see cultural and historical sites. We only cycle as much as we want to, since the van will go along with us.
