Day 1:  Arrival in Ho Chi Minh City/Sai Gon (– D)

Cycling Vietnam’s guide and driver will pick you up at the airport and transfer you to hotel for check in. The rest of day is free at leisure. Have dinner and trip briefing. You’ll stay overnight in Ho Chi Minh City/Sai Gon.

Day 2: Ho Chi Minh – Mekong Delta: Cai Ve – Vinh Long – Can Tho. (Lunch/dinner)

Begin your Cycling Vietnam’s guide and driver will pick you up at your hotel at 8 am and depart for Mekong Delta to Cai Be (2.5 hrs).

On arrival, We will board on boat for visit the floating market and cruise over the mighty Mekong River (~ 1.5km wide) to Dong Phu island. We start cycling one hour under the green canopy, explore the orchards and daily life of farmers.

We will have lunch break on the island and have boat cruise more to Vinh Long. In the afternoon we have two hours riding on immense rice fields, cycling through numerous rural riverside villages before our bus pick up to Can Tho city. We will stay in Can Tho.

Day 3: Can Tho – Ho Chi Minh City. (Breakfast, lunch)

We embark on a morning boat trip to Cai Rang’s floating market before heading up a quiet canal for more cruising along winding waterways . We then bike for two hours along back country roads taking in the breathtaking Mekong Delta scenery and discover local daily life. Following lunch break, we head back to Ho Chi Minh City. Finish services on arrival at your hotel in Ho Chi Minh City.

Day 4: Sai Gon to Dong Xoai, 145 km distance and 70km cycling ( B,L,D)

We will pick you up in the morning and transfer to Buu Long Mountain where we’ll reaching our bicycles and start to cycle along Dong Nai River and through Rubber tree plantations, Paddy field. you will arrive in Tri An lake and have short break for lunch. After that, continue to cycle along countryside road then reach to War Victory Monument where you can learn many interesting stories about Vietnam. We ‘ll spent a few minutes to sightseeing and then our support vehicle will take you to Dong Xoai Town. you will stay overnight in Dong Xoai.

Day 5: Dong Xoai to Lak Lake, 215km distance& 50km cycling – B,L,D.                 

Today is long distance to transfer and the beginning of the Ho Chi Minh road from the south to the north. We leave Dong Xoai Town early in the morning to Ho Chi Minh road where we start to cycle to Dak Mil village. You will bike to along Ho Chi Minh Trail and enjoy ít magnificent scenery. Stop at Soc Bom Bo village to kown about S’tieng ethnic minority people culture and traditions. Lunch is served on the way by local foods. After lunch, you will cycle to Dak Mil village(near Vietnam and Cambodia border). Then our support vehicle will transfer you to Lak Lake. We will stay overnight in Lak Lake.

Day 6: Lak lake to Da Lat, 165km distance & 100km cycling – B,L,D.         

After breakfast, you will visit one of the old summer retreats of Emperor Bao Dai and take a boat to a remote village on the far side of Lak Lake. Some light trekking is possible from this village. Elephant riding is available here (extra pay). we have short transfer  to Phi Lieng Village where the ride begins on the  flat countryside road for 10 kilometers, and then 12 km climb up hill on the top of Phu Son Pass then 20km section of downhill riding to Lam Ha Town. The spectacular mountain views are perfect for pictures along the way. Lunch is served in this town. After lunch, you will cycle to Elephant Waterfall about 30km through vegetable farms, flower farms and silk farms on the way. Arriving Elephant Waterfall (really pretty), you’ll visit the Linh An Pagoda & Happy Buddha, then continue to cycle to Ta Nung Hamlet about 20km. A stop at coffee plantations & weasel coffee farms to understand about ways of making weasel coffee in the Central Highlands. You will take your time to enjoy weasel coffee before heading to Ta Nung Hamlet. Our support vehicle will bring you to Da Lat before dark. This day offers 100 km worth of mountain biking. We’ll spent overnight in Da Lat.
